I am extremely happy with the electric dog fence that I had installed in January. My dog is absolutely thrilled to have the freedom to explore half of my property. I don't have to worry about her getting out onto the road anymore, or into the neighbours' properties. I heeded Deklan's advice to take the training very slowly. It just took two weeks of multiple daily training sessions for my puppy to get to learn her boundaries. The training is absolutely essential. If that's not done properly, then I believe it would be cruel for the dog. There is plenty of great help via the telephone or the website.
