Response time was prompt, unfortunately my DME could not be repaired. Thankfully, the new DME came quickly without any issues, and the two DMEs (working and damaged) were labeled. My car ran like normal after the DME and sensors that caused the issue were replaced. DME removal took about 2 hours with a very helpful article (for f30 N55s https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1180947), installation was much easier taking ~1 hr. A recommendation is to label where each cable plugs into the DME, FEM, ect. I did not do that, and had to look up pictures and wire diagrams for 3 of the connections.
