Submitting this for anyone who may have seen The ECU Pro come up in searches for VW repair as there are not many reviews from the VW side. For reference: 2015 golf sportwagen TDI with a no start condition and various other codes. Took the chance and shipped my unit. Was notified of status report and ECD along the way. ECU Pro successfully identified ground pins which were shorted and fixed accordingly to get the computer communicating again. Return shipping was prompt, hooked ecu back up to vehicle and fired right up. So far so good - will update if anything changes. Overall great experience thus far and couldn’t complain for the price and turn around time.
