Royal Mail caused some serious problems in making the delivery that you should be aware of.
We got notification that the parcel had been received from you into the Royal Mail system. Then we had an email that said it could not be delivered (although we her here at the delivery address at all times!) and was being returned to you (the sender). This turned out to be false as the postman arrived with the parcel the following day.
I believe (suspect) the problem was caused by the method of setting out the address on the parcel in such a way that Royal Mail's automated recognition system did not recognise it. The parcel was NOT returned to you but shunted around the postal system. When the address was manually read and it got speedily delivered safely to us.
I mention this in case during the Christams period you experience other delivery problems with Royal Mail. If this is typical of Royal Mail's service it is not surprising that they are losing money.
However do be reassured that your service is excellent and we will be ordering again from you in the future.
