Vancouver Island: Nestled on the southwestern coast of British Columbia, Vancouver Island is a paradise for nature enthusiasts. The island is home to charming towns, ancient rainforests, pristine beaches, and abundant wildlife. I had a great time learning to surf in Tofino with people i met through Global Work & Travel. Started our journey in Ucluelet, a small town about 50km from Tofino, known for its charming beaches, Wildlife, and relaxing town vibes. As you venture further, discover the rugged coastline of the Pacific Rim National Park. Hike through old-growth forests, stroll along pristine beaches, and witness the power of the Pacific Ocean. Don't miss the chance to visit Long Beach, a vast stretch of sand that offers breathtaking views and is perfect for a leisurely walk or a surf session. For a taste of the wild, we headed to Tofino, a charming coastal town known for its world-class surfing and whale-watching opportunities. We went on a whale-watching tour and witness majestic orcas, humpback whales, and sea lions in their natural habitat. Banff: Leaving Vancouver Island behind, we travel to the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where Banff National Park awaits. Renowned for its stunning mountain scenery, turquoise lakes, and abundant wildlife, Banff is a nature lover's paradise. Begin your Banff adventure in the town of Banff itself, a vibrant hub surrounded by majestic peaks. Explore the charming streets, indulge in local cuisine, and soak in the town's lively atmosphere. i learnt how to snowboard here and im extremely grateful for global sending me to Banff! One of the highlights of Banff National Park is Lake Louise, a picture-perfect alpine lake that will leave you breathless.
