It was extremely well packaged. We put it together very easily. I paid extra to have 2 men take it upstairs for me as I had no idea how heavy it would be for one of them to run upstairs with it lol. The slats were layered and compressed so very supportive. Once together and the bed made up it looked very beautiful.
My husband had been experiencing pain in his hips that went away within 2 days of sleeping on this bed. Its gorgeous and soo comfortable.
