I was working in Newcastle a couple of weeks ago (August 2019) and always stop in the lovely Craft Beer shop at Newcastle Railway Station on the way home, to grab a couple of nice beers to enjoy on the train. I picked up 2 cans of a beer I had never heard of before called 'Jakehead', a super-charged Double-Hopped IPA, brewed in Newcastle. Absolutely fantastic! I only drank one and took the other home for our 26-year old, who also appreciates good beer, and happens to be called Jake. We enjoyed them so much that I went online to see if I could buy some more, and found them at The Pip Stop, in County Durham. Ordered 6, which were very reasonably priced and arrived within a few days. Prompt, reliable service. Jake will be moving to his first own-home soon, so we are ordering some more as a house-warming gift. Highly recommend both the beer and the service from The Pip Stop.
