My daughter had lost a pin connector on her DKNY watch and took it to her local branch of Timpson for replacement. When she collected it a few days later she found it had not been repaired but 2 links had been broken in the attempt. With no apology for the damage she was then told it would cost £65 to replace the whole strap! Enter the heroes of The Watch Lab. I took the watch to your West Quay Southampton branch hoping something could be done. I spoke to Neil, who was appalled at the treatment we had received. He told me the only way the links could have been broken would be if the wrong tools had been used. Luckily we had 2 spare links which had been removed initially as it was too big. I left the watch with Neil and his team and collected it mended an hour later. I couldn't have asked for more, the team were amazing. They were more than helpful even taking photographs of the damage for me to present to Timpsons. Result: Timpson 0, The Watch Lab 10. Excellent service. Many thanks
