I don't order often but I did once or twice per year in recent years. I've always been happy with the service but not this year. The courier delivered the parcell at 7:30 in the morning when everyone in the house was still asleep. I jumped out of bed when I was woken up to open the entrance remotely but the courier left a few seconds before I got to the intercom. I then received an email that I need to collect the parcel from Sainsbury's.
There was no option given to have the parcel re-delivered. Now, I had to go out of my way to drive to Sainsbury's. When I arrived at Sainsbury's, it took them about half an hour to find my parcel. Whisky World said that this method saved their carbon footprint. They did not think that they added my carbon footprint, wasted my valuable time and forced me to incur extra fuel cost.
I paid for a delivery charge, yet, I wasted time, effort and money. Whisky World added stress to my life this year.
