AVOID this company. I explained all the troubleshooting and issues I had been having with my gas fireplace. He spent 5 minutes trying to light the pilot light unsuccessfully. He then tells me my valve is bad, I tell him I’ll light the pilot for him, get it lit and we flip on the low-voltage switch and the issue I called him to come fix of my main burner not lighting occurs. He says “see? valve is bad…” So, he was able to diagnose the bad valve but he didn’t know how to light the pilot? He then says he’ll get me a quote for a new valve. He tells me the valve will cost $1,400! I immediately googled the part and it’s a $200-$300 part online…. Save yourself some time and call someone else. These guys have no idea and bad customer service. Wasn’t wearing a brand T Shirt and seemed like some random person they called up. Avoid “The Chimney Pros”
