My long-time customer's husband called our number for a chimney sweep. Somehow, these Bozos answered and then claimed that yes, in fact, they were part of our company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure how the lines crossed. Either the customer hit the wrong digit or this company is tapping into my company's phone lines! Their number isn't even a Maine number so I'm not sure how this even could happen!!! They are not part of our company and never have been and never will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The customer was home and this Hispanic Male named Micah showed up on her doorstep claiming he was with our company and he needed to do a $99 sweep and inspection!! I'm a legitimate company and, due to insurance, vehicle maintenance, state registration fees, cost of supplies, tools, advertising, clerical professional services, and other misc. overhead, I couldn't even turn on my vehicle in the morning for that price!! No real sweep could!! I asked to speak to this Micah guy and he refused to speak to me!! I own the company so, if he were my employee, wouldn't it stand to reason he would want to talk to me??????????? He also came back after I hung up the phone with the customer and insisted that he had to do the job for the customer because only her husband could cancel the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is extremely fishy especially after all the one-star ratings talking of bait and switch concerning this company! Both my customer and myself are very uncomfortable with this interaction. Even if this was a simple mix up wouldn't it stand to reason that an honest company would respond to the customer saying, "Are you XXXXXXXXX company?" with, "No mam we are not. There must be a mistake!" However, this company just goes along with the mistake and says, "Oh yes, we work for XXXXXXXXXXXX company!!" So, even if this was an honest mistake, how this company turned that mistake to its favor is despicable!!!!!!!!!!! Far too many red flags!! Stay away from this company!! Classic bait and switch!!!!!!!!!!!!
