Hi, I purchased Dirt and some pegs for myself, liked the Dirt, so sent some to my daughter for her birthday. However, she read that it is not compatible with wool and silk (she uses both). I'm not sure how long it would take to break down our woollen socks? Also, whilst the pegs are strong, I find my clothes slide along the clothesline, and bunch up in the breeze. So probably not so sold on them. The Dirt smells lovely, and seems to clean quite well (just not my mechanic partner's oily work clothes ;-) ) Cheers
