A year ago during a PM check of my unit, it was noted that my capacitor would need to be replaced soon. At the time it was working at an acceptable level. Tonight, it finally gave out and it was at 10:30pm on a Saturday night. Already armed with this information I called for service. Realizing that most service calls after hours would cost more, we signed up for the Maintenance plan which saved us a lot of money especially during the weekend and being so late at night. My technician was dispatched quickly and arrived on site with in the hour. We confirmed my capacitor was bad and they were able to get me back up quickly. The tech was very professional, already knew a lot about our neighborhood and the other units based on prior history. Even while it was completely pitch dark we also were able to get a check on the system after the capacitor was replaced to ensure it was operating at optimum efficiency.
