My husband & I dined at Garnacha in Playa San Juan (Alicante) after a friend recommended it. Garnacha was an unexpected surprise! We ordered tapas to share including: Merluzito (white, mild, flakey fish) fritters. The batter was so light & flavorful, I wanted more. The Scallops in buerre blanc sauce were perfectly cooked & delicious, which was followed by artichoke hearts with anchovies, pimentos & black olives. The combination of flavors, was so unique (& again, so delicious). Next was the Grilled Steak with asparagus and thinly sliced, beautifully salted frites (fries). Chef Aureo really knows his stuff and his wife, Rosi was friendly and so hospitable. The evening was perfect & we will definitely be back! Garnacha is located in the Torre Golf Commerical Center.
