It's hard to put our gratitude into words. My partner has recently moved to the UK on a spousal visa and every lender or broker we spoke to said there was no chance of finding a lender for us, until she had 2 years in country. Then the first house we offered on fell through. He stayed patient while we found another house, kept supporting us and liaising with the lender, and this time the mortgage offer was confirmed.
