AVOID they are liars Using an online service I was looking for a conveyer in order to buy a strip of land. On the 15th of February I received a quote from the Moving Hub and accepted it. For a start I paid them 120£ and they connected me with Davis & McGrath Law. Although clearly instructed that it’s a simple land purchase of 400 square feet and I don’t need any searches The Moving Hub still tried to make me pay another 200£ since the searches are outsourced to them by the law firms they work with. I explained again the simplicity of the case and they cancelled the searches. Davis & McGrath Law was very fast to make me sign up with them, but then didn’t do anything for two months. That resolved in the case been taken from them and given to Hennah Haywood Law, who in their turn have done nothing for another month, lying to me in the mean while that the deal is moving forward. A month later they contacted me to tell me that due to conflict of interest they can no longer represent me, apparently in the past they represented the seller. They couldn’t explain where exactly the conflict of interest is, since it was in the past that they have represented the seller. The person I was dealing with in the Moving Hub promised to sort things out once again, but a weak later when I called I was told (within 1 hour two different stories) “he is busy and will give me a call back” and an hour later that “he left the company the previous week”. I was connected to one of the directors Oliver Meddick of the Moving Hub and I asked him for a refund, since I was out of patience with them. He told me that this in not going to happen and the best he can do for me is to give me 50£ refund with the condition that I am not going to dispute this with another solicitor. He told me that even if I do their solicitor will only point out the terms and conditions, and there is no way for me to get the money back. He was very smug about it, showing absolutely no appreciation to the situation they have put in into. My advice is to avoid the company at any cost
