I really like Nerivio and I feel like it’s been great to have another alternative treatment for my chronic migraines. I like that it’s something I can use in addition to taking medication if needed, or just using it on it’s own. I’ve had a positive experience using it thus far and hopefully continue to do so. I do feel that it has helped. The only negatives so far have been that the cost of Nerivio is extremely expensive, so I really use it a lot less than I need/would prefer. I really wish it were more affordable so I could use it more frequently. Another negative is sometimes it’s hard to connect the device to the app. I would have my phone directly next to the device and turned on and it would take 30min of trying to connect. The other big negative is that the device itself creates so much waste! When I asked if my first device would just be refilled, they told me no and to just throw it out because I’d be sent a new one. So I really love Nerivio, but maybe a new device could be made that you could refill and not replace and dispose of every month? Possibly something recycle-able? If it’s more cost effective, maybe it could be accessible to more patients. I don’t know if connectivity issues can be improved on, so it should be made very clear in the directions to establish a connection before applying to your arm. Overall, Nerivio is great and I’d love to use it more, it’s just impossible to with it being $100 per device.
