Nerivio has not solved my migraine problem but it has made managing the migraines possible. Over the last 25 years I have tried pretty much every drug on the market with varying degrees of success. In a lot of cases drugs would work for a few months or even a few years but then slowly lose their effectiveness as my body got used to them. Initially Nerivio did not seem to do a lot for me but I persisted in using it because the literature mentioned that the effect has been cumulative for other patients. It seems that over time the treatment has become more effective for me too. I have now used Nerivio 22 times and have submitted another refill request. With Nerivio as an option I can avoid triptans which have mixed results and can mostly stick to Ubrelvy, Cefaly and Nerivio to get through a migraine. It has even allowed me to be up and perform necessary household functions during migraines that in the past would have left me flat in bed for up to 72 hours. I am so grateful that my neurologist told me about Nerivio and recommend it highly to any patient who is not finding help or relief from pharmaceuticals or other traditional migraine treatments.
