I think this is a breakthrough unlike anything I have used before. And while other electrical impulse implements available may seem similar there is something proprietary and, furthermore effective, regarding Nerivio’s technical capabilities. I believe the only way to improve the product would be to mitigate typical anxieties a migraine sufferer might have in the initial phase of usage. For example, the mind, given nothing to do but focus on the pain, will often wonder “do I still have a headache?,” or “is this working?”…which invariably draws attention to the one sensation of which we are trying to rid. I have seen the images and sounds offered as something of a concomitant meditation, but for someone like myself averse to light and sound I am often left with just my thoughts. Meditation, and specific focus on relaxing the muscles in my face, head and neck has worked. I think a simple (albeit optional) protocol could be developed as a thought pattern exercise which offer patients a guidance in this regard. In summation, though, the product has worked extremely well, is easy to use, and would certainly be something I would recommend to anyone who suffers from migraines, (contraindications notwithstanding).
