I was hesitant to try Nerivio, but I’m finding it more helpful the more I use it. I have a severe acquired brain injury from meningoencephalitis at age 24. (Severe sepsis nearly killed me first.) I am close to two years out in recovery (age 26), and I’ve spent most of the time with an intractable migraine, tension headaches, and spinal headaches from lumbar punctures, among many other problems. I’ve had migraines since childhood, but migraines from the ABI are the worst I’ve ever experienced. Thanks to devices like Nerivio and Cefaly and supplements like Petadolex Butterbur, B2, and magnesium glycinate, I’m able to find some relief. I might not ever live a day free from all pain and limitation, but I’m still thankful to be alive and have access to resources like Nerivio.
