All pies are filled to the brim with filling and the pastry is crispy and flaky even if you cook from frozen. The steak range of pies are the best with big chunks of tender beef and are truly delicious. We like the steak and cheese range best. The chicken range are also good with a wide range of accompanying ingredients (eg ham, leek,mushroom). Our favourite in this selection is chicken with sage and onion. The non-meat range are also quite nice for a change and are ideal to keep in the freezer for the vegetarian guest. The very best in this range is the chestnut mushroom, leek and stilton (we like this one a lot!). We have also tried sausage rolls and crumble pies which are also a special treat. All of the products are expensive but far surpass the quality of competitors. Sometimes a little more seasoning would do the trick to make the pies more flavoursome and a little more imagination in the non-meat range. The quality of the delivery service is excellent with very efficient packaging. Well done The Real Pie Company - keep up the good work!
