I have had 2 orders from the Company this year, mainly steak pies and chicken pies. I have not tried the chickent pies yet so cannot comment. Most of the steak pies were very good, tasty plenty of meat and lovely, delicious pastry. However in the assortment I have had twic they contained kidney, steak and kidney pie. I will never buy the steak and kidney again, not very good, kidneys very hard, gristly and totally unpalatable, spoilt the whole pie so we could not really finish eating them. I would like to say that none of the pies had any gristly, but some did. Delivery for the second ordr was quicker than the first, for which we had to wait almost one month. Despite the few problems, the pies are well filled, tastly and the pasty lovely. I will just ordr indivual pies although this works out more expensive, so as not to have any with kidney, which I think unless prepared correctly are just awful Did buy crumbles but have not tried these either, although they look lovely. Would recommend this company and their products, excellent packaging and delivery prompt.
