For someone who has never home coloured their hair I was apprehensive about choosing, using and getting the colour results I Iike. I have very fine hair down to my waist with a mix of dark blondes, reds and fading white blondes from bleaching and dare I admit it, some greys ("sparkles") as my niece calls them. So its not easy to colour for even an expert hairdresser! I wanted to go a little darker and get grey coverage. The result was a beautful shade of chesnut that actually far better suits my skin tone and my eyebrow tattoo colours. I am so happy with this first attempt! The advice Camilla has given me for the next round if I want to create some low and high-lights is very detailed and I feel like I can't go wrong. I am really happy I chose to use "The Shade". The selfie is my old colour and the other is me trying on my dream wedding dress for next year with my new stylish hair colour!
