1 We went to Nana Beach Hotel in Crete and had a lovely time despite a couple of complaints. At first we were put into what seemed to be staff accommodation, one room without a window, glass panels at the front door which allowed passers by to look in to the room, and constant traffic outside the door despite the fact that we had paid extra for an upgrade to rooms with a garden view and a terrace or balcony. However, we complained to the rep and were moved the next day to much nicer rooms. On the advice of the rep we paid £42 each for fast tracking at the airport for the flight home. We did get taken straight to the lounge without waiting but the lounge was pretty basic, the toilets were quite far away and absolutely disgusting and to crown it all, we were taken to the end of the queue to board the plane and had to wait until everyone else was on board! Talk about a rip-off!!!
