Absolutely awful experience with Timpson. I took an item to be cleaned, and when it was returned, it was permanently marked - they blamed me for getting it dirty in the first place. There is no empathy, customer service or any attempt to look after the customer. I have spent months and months seeking a simple gesture of goodwill from them and a bit of human kindness. In-store, to be fair, we were very sympathetic and wanted to compensate me but cannot and have to pass to HQ - woe betide that happens to you because there isn't a shred of humanity left there. You get stonewalled, and it quickly snowballs into a giant mountain of pain and worry. Simply THE WORST and most terrifying customer experience strategy I have ever come across, and I categorically state that neither my family nor friends will ever use any of their branches again. I tell everyone about my bad experience story and encourage them to do the same. It was just the most abysmal and iniquitous encounter I have ever had, and I will regret ever choosing their service and entrusting them with my dry cleaning.
