Received my tires yesterday. Shipping took longer than initially stated but that's not surprising these days and not the reason for the two stars. The reason for the two stars is the tires I received are almost a year old. I'm dealing with a warranty issue on one of the tires currently on the car and the manufacturer is telling me they're out of warranty. I bought those tires (not from Tires Shipped2 You) a little over 4 years ago but the date on the tire shows it's past 5 years old. The documentation I have from the original purchase says the warranty ends at the 5-year mark so they say there's no warranty. And they're telling me it doesn't matter when they were purchased - they go by the manufacture date on the tire. I don't want to install new tires on my car that are already one year old. It shortens my warranty and in the situation I'm currently dealing with, I'm going to have to pay for a new tire that otherwise should have been covered by the original warranty. The failed tire still had 73% of the original tread. Can these be exchanged with tires that truly are new?
