The attachment works great. I’ve moved dozens of bales already and no problems. I would like to see the lower spikes have a slightly larger bolt and maybe a locking nut so it doesn’t back out. Both of the bolts holding in the lower spikes loosened after about a day bouncing through the field so I added lock tight to keep it from happening again. The opening for the screw holding the lower spikes is too big and I’m worried about water getting inside so I’ll have to figure out how to close that off. I might end up welding the spikes in place as I don’t think I will ever have to replace them anyway. This attachment was on sale for $250 and I’ would recommend it to anyone looking for a hay spear especially at that price.
