We ordered the beam initially and we were so impressed with the finish and quality that we decided to change the design from built in cupboards painted the same as the room to floating shelves matching the beam and sideboards. The shelves give the room width and character and the beam adds a cosiness to the fireplace. We are really happy with the products and would happily recommend Traditional Beams.
