Our flight experienced a 1.5 hour delay flying to Bordeaux. I advised them via WhatsApp at least 3 hours before and received a replies that pick up time was amended with no issues raised by them. Communications during this time were pretty good.
We arrived at the airport and were met by the driver - so far so good. Once at the hotel the driver informed us that there was an extra €30 charge ‘for being late’.
Obviously TA24 never made us aware of this during our exchanges via WhatsApp. I sent them a message to challenge this charge.
Interestingly enough they never replied, contrary to what they did in the morning.
This is the blindsightedness of certain so called companies. Apart from losing two potentially frequent clients I am making sure everyone gets to know that it’s best to look elsewhere particularly with airline delays being so prevalent at this time.
