Great service overall - I would definitely recommend!
I found out on the Sunday that I needed to go to China by Thursday that week. On Monday I contacted travel-direct and sent my application and I used the 27 hour service and was incredibly impressed with the smoothness and ease of the whole process. The communication was great at every stage and Thursday morning my passport with visa arrived in plenty of time for me to catch my flight.
