Thanks to the Travel Direct service I received my business visa within a week using their normal service. They checked my application and invitation letter before it was submitted which made all the difference. Colleagues attending the same conference but attending the embassy themselves had difficulties getting visas because of small errors in their applications. I sent off the application and payment on Monday and my visa arrived the following Saturday morning. I had no problems entering China with it.
