1) Mis-Sold a hotel. Turns out the hotel doesn't like large groups which we booked. We noticed this 1 month before due to depart on another booking website. The hotel wanted €300pp deposit and reserved the right to turn you away on arrival, not worth the risk. Nothing detailed on their website but turns out it's
mentioned others and forums.
2) Waited 3 weeks for a response on this issue, and they responded by email, definitely warrented a phone call I feel
3) Passed around various departments, nobody taking ownership of the error. Also told a manager would phone and they were open until 10, I got an email and they closed at 8.
4) We are expected to foot the bill for travel republic's mistake. There were other hotels we could have booked at the time for the same price, now they are nearly 3x more expensive
Still hoping to get this resolved Travel Republic.
