Having booked flights with TR (and seat upgrades with two airlines) pre-Covid, I patiently awaited news from the media, the airlines and the Gov website to establish if my trip would be going ahead or not. Yes, TR took a while to email me; yes, their phone lines were deactivated and yes, they did not reply to my follow up. BA meanwhile published the cancellation of my flight in good time and they allowed me a change of flight with no trouble at all. But I could not access the flight information with EasyJet, so when TR emailed me three days before my trip, inviting me to get in touch, I was delighted. From here on in, they completely redeemed themselves: Mike Robinson at TR was faultless, providing friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guidance on how to fix things, demonstrating a real 'can-do' attitude. He confirmed the changes with my BA booking and guided me through the EasyJet website so I could change the flight there too (incidentally, a completely trouble-free process). I was left feeling so much happier having spoken with someone who knew what they were talking about and who actually got things done whilst I was on the phone. I am now looking forward to a holiday at the end of the year with flights, seat upgrades and accommodation all planned and booked. To anyone stressing about the current situation, I would urge you patience and forbearance: things will get sorted out and you are in safe hands with Travel Republic.
