We have travelled twice with Travel Local, once to China and once to Mongolia. It is a brilliant way of using travel companies in the country you want to visit. Which means you get local knowledge and expertise, your money is going to the country yet your money is still ABTA protected. On the trip to China we went to Shanghai and the surrounding cities and all the logistics worked like a dream and we really saw what we wanted to see with a wonderful guide. In Mongolia we were travelling through the country, again all worked very well and again we had a terrific guide who showed us both the natural wonders of the country as well as the culture including meeting many of the local, very welcoming Mongolians.
