Fantastic holiday in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan at our pace with very knowledgeable guides. Travel Local and its local companies were great (and patient) at helping us work out the itinerary beforehand. We could make sure we had plenty of time to explore places properly as well as time just to wander around and soak up the atmosphere. Just one tip: When you're sleeping in a yurt with a bed of a dozen eiderdowns on top of each other to keep warm, make sure you and your partner are between the same layers. It's warmer that way!
