This is the first time I tried this brand and was a little disappointed when I first opened it. My other ones were longer and even though I purchased 2 of them, I didn't know if my 12' tree would fit. Once they were opened and they have a bit of a spring action to them, they are much deeper so less footprint if space is an issue. They are very well made and heavy duty. Due to the fact my tree is extremely wide actually has 9 pieces and I have the storage space I am purchasing a 3rd one so take the pressure off my branches and the lights. I would definitely purchase this brand again.
