Memorial trees are a beautiful way to pay tribute to a loved one and help the environment at the same time. Trees are a lasting memorial to those we love and, in my experience, are always greatly appreciated by grieving families. Knowing the trees have been planted in honor of a beloved family member or friend provides a sense of comfort and peace. Trees for a Change is a great organization to provide this service and has maintained a grove planted in honor of my son, Tim McGuire, for several years. We add to his tree count every year and Trees for a Change has always been very good about letting me know where and when the trees have been planted and they also provide location information in case we want to visit the grove. An added bonus is the contribution that these new trees provide to the wildlife in the area.
