The trinity gift shop is extremely frustrating. I went to see the book of kells and didn’t have enough time to look at everything written in the exhibit so I thought I would just get a book from the gift shop. All they had was a book on trinity college, which I bought, with only a few short pages on the book of kells. So I went on line and found the book of kells guidebook for €19. Keep in mind I was in Dublin but I had to order this book online and pay €23 to ship it home to Canada. You would think they would have the guidebook on their most famous exhibit in the actual store. It cost me over 70 Canadian dollars to get the book. The book is fine but the experience was frustrating. Staff were friendly and nice.
