REFUND ON TICKET. I was advised to cancel the booking to get a refund due to the fact that we cannot update details when there is an error or miss spelling, and this was done 10 minutes after the booking as the ticket was not issued yet. Then Trip.com send the confirmation that the ticket was changed and error was corrected, but the cancellation was already done and a new ticket purchased but still I did not receive a refund on the original ticket! One consultant tell you to do one thing and then another one does something different, there is no communication at all! Even the airline had issues to make payment so I wonder if they were even paid by Trip.com....? My argument to them and still nothing has been done about it. But I am sure you have access to this, if you purchase a ticket and cancel it 10 minutes after the purchase you will get the same message which states that you will be credited back into the same card used for the same amount. The ticket was sent an hour after the initial purchase so there was enough time to get the credit done. My request was to correct the passport number (and your message) stated to cancel the ticket immediately as it has not been issued to get full refund processed in order to then purchase a new ticket. At the time of purchasing the new ticket there was no longer fight available as per the original and therefor had to choose another airline which was even more expensive and not the first choice. On this day, there was also a problem with the payment of tickets with the airline directly and I still expect this to be sorted out and refunded. You can go and do the test yourself to see the pop up message saying that the amount will be credited in full when the ticket is not yet processed. This is my proof of payment that I took a screenshot off, where we realised the Passport number was incorrect and then selected cancel booking, here you will see the ticket has not even been issued yet (screenshots attached) Also attached the new ticket that was purchased as proof of purchase due to the flight not being available after CANCELLATION request on your website (which was more expensive but the only option at the time of booking) Trust your assistance on this and that the ticket will be refunded in full.
