If you want to be embarrassed and look like a deadbeat book with trip.com. Booked with them. Chose option to pay on booking. No problem. I get to hotel to check in and am told that thier credit card declined…. I said mine? Hotel says no trip.coms. So we call and am told by the trip.com rep to have the hotel to wait until after midnight and retry their credit card. 😭😂😭 what in the ghetto hell is that? So hotel was willing to do it but if the card declined again at midnight they would need me to come to the desk and pay. I decided just to pay right then and dispute the charge. This was the most ghetto ish I’ve ever seen a supposed big company to do. Book with someone else. Anyone else. Next time I’ll just use my cuzin Jethro’s homie on the block to book for me while I buy some crack and I’d feel more confident that it’s actually paid before I get there than to trust trip.com again.
