My experience with the box was so-so. The mamey fruit never ripened correctly, although they are sending a replacement - I appreciate that customer service! However, the mangos and papayas sent were, frankly, not great. The mangos are the same kind I can buy at my local store for $1 each (there are much better varieties out there!), and the papayas had no flavor even when ripe. I've lived in the tropics before so maybe my standards are higher, but I wasn't too impressed for a shipment that cost $120. The rest of the selection, however, was great. I don't think I wouldn't personally buy the variety box again because of these reasons, but I might purchase specific fruits selectively.
