The first part of the story is that I entered incorrect shipping information - ship to me instead of my son in Hoboken. I called Fruit Box right away and was told it would be fine, that the shipment would be re-directed. And the next day a box of fruit was at my door. I called right away and was assured that a package was on its way to Hoboken and that there wouldn't be a duplicate charge. So far, no duplicate charge.
The second part of the story is the $24. 52 shipping charge I didn't notice. Shipping should be free. And so I called again. It took a while but I got credit on my VISA card for the shipping.
And then there's the fruit. The Lychees are delicious and perfectly ripe. The pineapple is moist and sweet. But I live in Florida and all the pineapple I buy is that way, at a fraction of the cost. The Egg Fruit and Mango aren't ripe and are hard as rocks. To Be Determined.
Now, what to do about getting a Christmas present to my son in Hoboken. I'm pretty broken-hearted.
