So -- the service itself is fine. We have been a customer of TrustPilot for many years. However, due to a change in company ownership, we are switching to an alternative review platform. This change happened near the end of our billing period. Rather than gracefully letting us cancel, even though we have no need of their service, they are forcing us to "honor our contract" and pay for an entire year of service even if we have no need for using it. Not only that, our bill "mysteriously" rose by nearly 2,000 this year even though we have not made any active use of their service. On one hand, I understand their contract needs cancellation by a certain date and we missed that deadline. On the other hand, our company would never treat a customer who did not want to use our product this way, and I feel both disappointed and ripped off that they are completely OK with billing for a year of service that is unwanted based on an automatically renewing contract. I would recommend one of the many high-quality alternatives.
