I've decided to dump TrustPilot as a review site and have updated all the companies I've positively reviewed tonight with:-
Dear Company – I have reviewed several businesses on the TrustPilot web site. The vast majority have been positive reviews due to the good product/service/delivery of those companies. Unfortunately, one company, that currently has a 95% poor rating, has been demanding hundreds of pounds from those that have posted an honest but poor review. They are also taking out court summonses to force reviewers into paying these hefty demands of hundreds of pounds. Some have suggested this company is running a fraud and they are using TrustPilot to scam people. That has yet to be proven. I will be attending court to (hopefully) have this matter resolved but, in the meantime, I feel that TrustPilot are not doing enough (despite having been sent many pieces of information about this company). The only course in dealing with TrustPilot seems to be not to deal with them at all. Therefore, I will be deleting all reviews I’ve submitted on the TrustPilot web site in one weeks’ time. Your company has supplied excellent service and it is a shame that my delight with your company must be removed but I will have no more dealings with TrustPilot – ever.
All self explanatory. Shame the 'good companies have to suffer because of one rogue company but TrustPilot has been given enough info to close this rogue company down on their website but they have failed to do so.
