Their business model is extortion:
1. they list your website which becomes a complaint box and fair game for competitors and unverified reviews.
2. the unverified reviews harm you, because 99% of customers who are satisfied will not review on TP unsollicited. The 1% with a bad experience will complain, hence giving you a 1 star rating.
3. They contact you, asking you two shell out huge amounts just to be able to send them verified reviewers
4. suddenly you move from 1 star to 5 star. You're the same company with the same service, the only difference is now you're paying them a lot of money.
My question is: how is this platform actually benefiting the consumer if the "trust" score only reflects how much money TP is getting?
