Very similar experience to others with TrustPilot. I had an awful experience with a company (MadisonSeating.com) and posted my experience. The company has done everything in its power to take my review down, from saying I wasn't a genuine customer to claiming that I made "defamatory" statements against them. Neither of which are true, and I proved it to TrustPilot.
Interesting it takes the company less than a few days to get my review taken down, and it takes me 2 months to get it put back up, even after taking the "corrective actions" within days of being reported.
Then it all started to make sense. If the company is paying TrustPilot, who is going to have the most influence? You the customer paying no money, or the company paying money?
I'm starting to lose trust in TrustPilot. I will update this if anything different happens, but I'm not holding my breath.
