Here's an e-mail I received from TrustPilot, after I expressed doubts about Youtube's so-called reporting system:-
"To make sure the reviews on our platform are of high quality and useful to everyone, we run random automated checks of review patterns. Our software flags reviews consisting of promotional references, marketing material, and / or repeated postings.
Your review of www.youtube.com has been flagged by our automated software. This means we’ve removed it from our platform.
If you have any questions, you’re welcome to contact our Content Integrity Team by replying to this email.
You can also find information on how we work with reviews in our Support Center.
Best regards,
Trustpilot Content Integrity"
Here's my reply:-
"Hello Content Integrity Team,
I'm astounded you found my review of Youtube consists of "promotional references, marketing material and/or repeated postings", as you put it.
Would it be too much to ask exactly what part (or parts) of the review fell foul of your so-called automated checks?
Curious
Name"
I'm guessing the reply, if I ever get one, will be complete nonsense, but let's see.
