So I expected to pay £59 plus vat to connect a digital box to a Sky dish having just moved house. When he arrived I was told the dish wasn't compatible he would have to adjust it and it would cost £106 plus vat. The job took 10 mins then he quoted £156.90! I asked why the cost was going up and he said he'd had to modify the dish that he'd already quoted for. He then said alright he wouldn't charge for the service, what service?and then said I would have to pay £130.80! He behaved like a double glazing salesman and produced a receipt that is illegible. Do the company know what their employees are doing? I was viewed as an older woman on her own and a prime target to rip Off! It has left a bad taste in my mouth.
