I was sick of sick of my mother’s “good natured” jokes about how I was spending my time making TikTok videos that got 10 views on an account that had 3 followers. (I really had almost 150 followers and usually got 20-30 views for a vid, but I know the point she was making and it hit me hard.) When I saw that Twicsy sold followers, I bought 250 of them so I could shut her down for a little while. To my surprise, those 250 followers turned into almost as many new fans and hundreds of views for every one of my posts. “Finally making progress,” was my mother’s comment, but that’s a win to me.
