I am beyond disappointed in the service or lack there of that I received today and as such I have removed my 5 star review for my previous visit and changed it to 1. Now before anyone comes at me, I am fully aware of the extensive terms and conditions of booking a service through this business. I was booked in today for a beard trim and had left sufficient time to be early for my appointment due to unusual traffic congestion there was a risk of me being at most 5 minutes late. I did the right thing and called through to advise, the phone was answered by someone with an English accent and upon telling them I might be slightly late they immediately said you have to cancel or rebook you can look on the website for times. Now I agree in being respectful of peoples time and I appreciate that to keep the business running efficiently you need to ensure appointments don't run over etc. However, having zero flexibility built into your scheduling to accommodate for situations such as this just shows you don't actually care about customers and their time at all as I was literally 5 minutes away so not only did I travel all the way in for nothing I now have to find another Barber. This type of structure probably works on paper (and for your bottom line through surcharging people for situations out of their control) it isn't realistic in the real world where there are factors that are simply unavoidable. To anyone looking for a Barber I would give this place miss, they don't actually care about their customers just the $$$.
